Welcome to the Abound Developer Portal!

This guide will walk you through the process of registering for an account, obtaining API access, and making your first requests. Follow the instructions below to get started:

Registering for an Account

  1. Get an Invite Code: Contact the Abound Team using the Intercom chatbox on the homepage.
  2. Register: Once you have your invite code, click the Register button.
  3. Complete the Form: Fill in all required fields and agree to the Terms of Use.
  4. Submit: Click the Register to Developer Portal button to complete your registration.

Browsing API Products

  1. Access the Catalog: With your registered account, browse available API products on the Catalogues page.
  2. Select a Product: Click Access With This Plan to add a product to your cart.

API Product Checkout

  1. Go to Cart: Navigate to your cart using the Go to cart button or the cart icon.
  2. Confirm Selection: Confirm your selected product and plan.
  3. Create or Select an App: Create a new App or select an existing one. Apps help organize access credentials in your Dashboard and are shared within your organization.
  4. Submit Request: Click Submit Request to provision your credentials.

Obtaining API Credentials

  1. Dashboard Access: After checkout, you will be redirected to the Dashboard.
  2. My Apps: Click My Apps and select the app you created.
  3. Copy Token ID: Copy the Token ID, which will be used as the abound-api-key in your request headers.

Exploring APIs

  • Start Exploring: Use the provided playground or an API client of your choice to interact with the API.

  • Authorization: For authorization, include the abound-api-key header key obtained in the previous step in your requests.
